Mia Wright-Ross is the visionary behind the MWR Collection. With over 13 years immersed in the world of footwear and accessories, her deep-rooted passion for leather craftsmanship is the driving force behind our atelier. Mia’s belief in the irreplaceable value of the human hand in the creation process led her to establish MWR Collection as a sanctuary for artisanal excellence.

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Mia's artistic journey began in her youth and flourished at Parsons School of Design. Her signature leather cording technique, a hallmark of the MWR aesthetic, is a testament to her philosophy that every element contributes to the overall harmony of a piece.

Mia’s career trajectory is a testament to her dedication to the craft. From leading design roles at renowned fashion houses like Calvin Klein, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Tibi to sharing her expertise as a professor at Parsons, she has consistently elevated the standards of leather craftsmanship.
