Who We Are
MWR Collection, LLC. is a full-service luxury crafting atelier, specializing in luxury lifestyle goods including handbags, accessories, home decor, and furniture. MWR Collection is bold, distinct, dexterous, and connected. Since 2016, the skillful hands of Creative Director Mia Wright-Ross and our experienced artisans have worked to massage a true collection of design, creation, and human kinship within each bespoke work. The MWR Collection Philosophy is grounded in the commitment to the practice of artisanal skills with the truth of the natural human hand. Artisan education and craftpersonship are herms of our ideology and are fulfilled through the leather crafted artifacts produced in our studio in New York City. From the hand woven leather cable detailing to the modern purposeful product engineering, MWR Collection reconnects its patrons to the humanity of the creative design process.
What We Do
From concept to technical hand skills, MWR Collection shows that the human touch is still valuable in design. We produce an intrinsic collection of Leather Lifestyle Accessories that are handcrafted in our studio in Washington Heights, New York City. All MWR Collection works are bespoke and made-to-order, making each detail unique to the buyer’s specifications. Our local manufacturing and highly artisanal practices reduce waste and total carbon footprint throughout the complete making process. Our superior quality leather skins are sources from the deadstock supply of our network of sustainable tanneries, creating our high-quality, hyper limited edition works.

Our Creative Director
Mia Wright-Ross is a leather craft’s artist who focuses her works in footwear & accessory design, sculpture, and lifestyle tools. Wright-Ross created MWR Collection, LLC. to revive the necessity of the artisan in the design space and to educate future designers & artists in luxury processes. She has worked as a designer in the Footwear & Accessory Industry for the past 10 years and has been a leading designer for a number of contemporary designer brands. Brands including Calvin Klein, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Saks 5th Avenue an Tibi. At Tibi, she was the Senior Footwear & Accessories Designer, where she oversaw all design & development in Italy & Brazil for 4 years.
In addition to being the founder and creative director of MWR Collection, Mia Wright-Ross is an adjunct professor of Shoe Design & Construction at Parsons The New School for Design, the Museum of Art & Design's 2020-21 Artist Fellow, and a full-time design consultant.
